Our waiting list is closed at the moment, please check here for updates.

The Sue Lambert Trust is the only provider of specialist long term counselling to survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence in Norfolk. Service provision has increased year on year thanks to our skilled and committed counsellor volunteers and staff team and our very supportive funders. Unfortunately, demand for our services has increased at a far greater rate. Already some clients will be waiting for over two years for counselling. Thus we have taken the decision to close our waiting list to new clients. This will enable us to best serve those already on our books who include the 200 clients currently receiving counselling and a further 500 who are waiting for counselling or have an initial assessment booked in. The situation will be kept under regular review. We believe this measure is the only way we can continue to deliver the uncompromisingly high standard of counselling and support for which we are known and respected. This is an operational and ethical decision, it is also a difficult decision and we will keep it under constant review.  People wishing to request a service are advised to please check our website for updates or call us. To everyone who needs our service, we say: don’t lose hope, the closure is only temporary. Once we re-open the waiting time will be significantly reduced.
