Peer support groups

All of our peer support groups provide a safe, supportive, and kind space for people with similar experiences to build a community of support.

Many clients attend our groups alongside their course of therapy or counselling at Sue Lambert Trust, while others choose to join a group once their counselling sessions have drawn to a close.

By attending group sessions, people are empowered to build resilience, rediscover confidence and find a release through art, craft, writing, music and many other activities, providing a way to express and process past events.

Many of these group sessions are led by clients we have supported.

Regular group sessions also provide an opportunity to meet up and talk in a safe, supportive space.

Sue Lambert Trust Crafters (Norwich)

Join us for a creative group exploring art and crafts.

Our SLT Crafters group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month in Norwich.

It is a crafting group for clients past and present, of all genders. It is facilitated by two of our counsellors, who are there to support the session.

Attendees have the opportunity to get involved in the activities we provide or can bring their own craft projects along. The sessions are run as a drop-in, so people can come and go as they please and attend as regularly as they wish.
