We’re looking to recruit at Sue Lambert Trust. Would you like to join us as we provide much-needed support for people who have experienced sexual abuse?
Due to a number of staff moves and changes, five positions are open to applications including Head of Clinical Governance & Safeguarding and Digital Fundraising & Engagement Manager.
Clive Evans, chief executive of Sue Lambert Trust say: “In April 2019 we received just over 50 referrals from people needing our help. Since April 2021, we have received a staggering 145 requests for help, his threefold increase is heartbreaking, and clearly demonstrates the need for our services is growing exponentially. We must do everything in our power to ensure that Sue Lambert Trust is fit-for-purpose and future-proof. Investing in our people is a critical part of that.”

Since the first Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020, Sue Lambert Trust has seen a significant increase in referrals from people looking for help. The new staffing structure has been put in place to ensure that Sue Lambert Trust is well-placed to attract new and additional funding so it can offer support to more people who are struggling to deal with the abuse they have suffered.
“Our first responsibility as a charity has always been to the people who rely on us to help them recover from unimaginable trauma,” continues Clive Evans. “As a charity, we have a moral duty to evolve, develop and expand our reach so we can help more people in more places. Like any modern charity or business, we need a strong infrastructure. But we know that without our incredible team of staff and volunteers we couldn’t help so many people to rebuild their lives.”
