As 2025 comes to end, we’re taking a moment to shine a spotlight on the incredible support we’ve received from our local business community.

From artisan makers to large enterprises, your generosity and dedication (and sometimes bravery!) have made a real difference to our transformative services, helping survivors of sexual abuse, rape and sexual violence heal and rebuild their lives.

Whether through donations, fundraising challenges or in-kind giving, every act of kindness has an impact on survivors, and we’d like to say a heartfelt “thank you” to every one of you.

If you’re a Norfolk business looking to support Sue Lambert Trust in 2026, we’ve shared some examples of how local enterprises have generously helped our cause this year.

And please think about nominating us as your charity partner.

Demand on our services continues to grow, and we’re at a critical stage. We have the specialist skills and expertise to help survivors heal from their trauma. But we need more long-term support and funding so we can make our counselling and support services to everyone who needs us, sooner.

Thank you to all the following businesses who supported us in 2025.

Your kindness continues to change lives, here in Norfolk.

Howes Percival – Solicitors Howes Percival chose Sue Lambert Trust as their Charity of the Year 2025, and staff have taken part in many fundraising challenges and events, including the Sue Lambert Trust charity sky dive and a 40-mile walk along thethe Wherryman Way, from our Great Yarmouth office to Norwich, raising vital funds and awareness.

Acora One – IT support specialists Acora One also chose Sue Lambert Trust as their Charity of the Year 2025. As well as fundraising, the team also volunteered at our Norwich office. Painting and gardening, they made over our outdoor spaces, so they became more welcoming for clients. This type of practical support means we can ensure our funding goes where it has the most impact – into counselling and specialist support services for survivors of sexual violence.

Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News – Sue Lambert Trust was chosen as the beneficiary for their Carols at Christmas church service in Norwich, organised by the newspapers’ owner Newsquest.

Paul Robinson Partnership – The architectural practice kindly made a donation to support our work and helped raise awareness by adding our details to their email signatories. We are very grateful for both their generosity and their support in spreading the word about our services.

Dereham & District Ladies Circle and Dereham & District Round Table – We received an early Christmas present from these two big-hearted organisations, who donated a percentage of the collections from this year’s Santa sleigh run in Dereham.

Breakwater IT and Fiera Real Estate – Both companies donated refurbished laptops to our team, which helped to lower our administration costs.

Wensum Print – The printers kindly sponsored the promotional flyers for our Silent Disco fundraiser in August. Many local businesses also donated amazing prizes for a raffle at the event – thank you to everyone who contributed.

Red Herring Press – Meanwhile, fellow printer Red Herring Press dropped off a selection of books at our Great Yarmouth office for staff and clients to enjoy.

n-able – The lovely team installed new supports in our accessible toilet free of charge, donating both their time and materials. This helped us continue to offer a welcoming space for our clients that’s as accessible as possible.

No.8 Thorpe Road – No.8 kindly offered a free meeting space for our Board this year, allowing us to dedicate more funds towards our services.

Soroptimist International Norwich – Investing in yourself is essential when going through specialist therapy. Our clients need to prioritise and invest in themselves throughout the counselling journey, to maintain the strength and resilience needed to process and revisit their experience of sexual abuse and sexual assault, and to heal.

Thank you to the Soroptimists Norwich for understanding this and showing our clients that you care, by donating a lovely bundle of self-care products.

Made by Miri Ruth – This talented artisan maker creates beautiful Empowerment candles, with healing amethyst, rhodonite and rose quartz chips. Money from every sale is donated to Sue Lambert Trust. Sold on Etsy – search for MadeByMiriRuth

LaLa Beauty – Those looking for their next read were invited along to the beauty studio in Norwich for its Blind Date with a Book event, where you collected a wrapped lucky dip book, a hot drink and a tasty snack, in exchange for a donation towards Sue Lambert Trust. What an amazing way to relax and unwind, all while giving back to a local charity.

The Cottage Pub in Thorpe St Andrew – we received a donation from this lovely local who had set up collection pots for its customers, showing how small acts can make a big difference.

JLL and Castle Quarter – Both businesses kindly invited Sue Lambert Trust along to their special charity days, so we could speak to staff and customers about our work. These opportunities are vital as it means we can share more about our work, and why it is so very needed in Norfolk.

  • 1 in 12 people in Norfolk have experienced sexual assault, rape or sexual abuse and we exist to provide specialist therapy and support, so that survivors can heal.

Raising awareness of the scale of the issue and our services is vital. More awareness and more funding mean we can support more people sooner and let people in need know we are here to help.

Thank you to all our amazing business heroes who have supported Sue Lambert Trust this year.

Your efforts and contributions mean so much to our team and our clients, and we hope you will continue to support us in 2026.
