In this feature we spend time getting to know some of the team that make Sue Lambert Trust who we are. In this edition of getting to know… we interviewed Louise who recently joined us as in a new role as our Fundraising Manager.

Working life

1. What lead you to your role working at Sue Lambert Trust?

I’ve been working in the Norfolk charity fundraising scene for several years now. When I saw the post as Fundraising Manager for the Sue Lambert Trust I really felt that my experience could make a difference to the clients we support especially with the rising demand for our services.

2. How would you summarise your role at SLT?

I’m here to plan a fundraising strategy to raise funds from the community and local businesses to support our work with clients.

3. What do you like most about working for Sue Lambert Trust?

Every day I see clients arriving for their appointments and I hear the support given over the phone and its really rewarding knowing that I’ve had a small part in their journey. Also, the team are super friendly and supportive.

Home life

1. What do you like doing in your spare time, what are your hobbies or interests outside of work?

I love fun and colourful interior design and have recently loved painting furniture.

2. What’s your favourite food or meal?

Archers Butchers sausages!

3. What’s your favourite place to visit in Norfolk?

Blickling Hall. Such a grand entrance and I love that Anne Boleyn was born there.

4. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would love to visit Sorento. My grandad was posted there in WW2 and i would like to visit some of the places he told me about.
