A huge thank you to Norwich solicitors Howes Percival who have chosen us as their Charity of the Year.
Throughout 2025 the law firm will be taking part in fundraising events and challenges, raising much-needed funds to enable us to continue delivering essential support to victims of sexual violence.
Wasting no time in getting their fundraising activities under way, the Norwich team have already hosted a Valentine’s themed bake sale raising £80.
While two brave colleagues have signed up to take part in our skydive in July and abseil down The Forum in Norwich this October. (Feeling courageous? You can sign up too.)

Howes Percival will be kindly raising money for our charity in 2025
Sue Lambert Trust was selected as the Charity of the Year by the Howes Percival Charity Committee. Sam Leaver, committee member says:
“We are excited to be supporting Sue Lambert Trust as our Norwich office Charity of the Year. This fantastic organisation provides essential support to those who have experienced sexual abuse or sexual assault, and their compassionate work offers counselling, therapy, and practical assistance to help survivors rebuild their lives.
“At Howes Percival, we are committed to supporting causes that genuinely impact our local community. The work of the Sue Lambert Trust is both vital and inspiring, and we are proud to partner with them. Throughout the year, we will engage in a series of fundraising and volunteering activities to raise awareness and help ensure they can continue providing their invaluable services.
“There are lots of exciting initiatives planned for the year ahead, and we look forward to working together to make a meaningful impact.”
Louise Archer is our Fundraising Manager at Sue Lambert Trust and since joining the charity in October last year has been busy forging new relationships and partnerships with local businesses, as well as our community of kind-hearted supporters.
Louise adds; “Without the support of businesses like Howes Percival we would struggle to fund all the support that is needed by our clients, and future clients, living in Norfolk.
“In 2024, we supported more than 600 people who were suffering with the impact of sexual violence and delivered over 10,000 individual counselling sessions. We also deliver group therapy sessions, which means our professional support touches the lives of hundreds of survivors – people who have asked for our specialist help so they can start to heal from the devastating trauma they’ve experienced.
“Many of our clients live with the emotional pain and mental distress caused by rape and sexual abuse for years, sometimes decades, before they bravely speak out, and ask for our help.
“We want to be there for everyone who needs us in Norfolk, as soon as we can.
“But sadly, we always have a waiting list. Demand continues to rise, while our funding does not, and due to recent cuts, we have had to reduce the amount of people we can support this year.
“We want to turn that around. All victims of sexual violence deserve access to specialist support. We are incredibly thankful to Howes Percival for speaking up for survivors of sexual violence and for choosing to support Sue Lambert Trust at such a vital time.”
- We urgently need more fundraisers so we can continue to support everyone in Norfolk who needs us.
