Marks Marathon Blog - Running to raise funds for Sue Lambert Trust
Here's Marks April update about his running journey about his training and fundraising.
19th April 2022
After arriving back in the UK to miserable weather and getting married. I decided it was time to really push on with my training for London. To be completely honest it’s been a roller coaster this month running wise. I’m kind of feeling in a state of limbo before really embarking on some more structured training in early May.
It’s often the case to feel quite daunted about the prospect of all those miles through the hot summer months. I’ve slowly picked up my mileage again after the excess of holiday. As usual I’ve been moaning about little niggles here and there. That’s pretty standard behaviour from most runners I’ve yet to meet one who feels a 100% on a race start line. As the weeks tick away though I’m starting to feel excited about representing Sue Lambert Trust on the biggest road running stage of them all.
